Next Monthly Lecture - Thursday, January 7th

The Next Monthly Lecture will be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2010 @ the home of Br. 'Abdul-Malik in 'Abdullaah al-Mubaarak Area. Inshaa'Allaah. Br. Aboo 'Abdillaah Nabeel Chogle is the speaker and he will be explaining some points from the 'Aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah, taken from the precious book Usoolus-Sunnah of Imaam Ahmad bin Hanbal (rahimahullaah).

Monthly Lecture ::: 3 Sept. 2009

Inshaa'Allaah,  our Monthly Lecture will be held this Thursday, 3 Sept. 2009, in the home of our brother 'Abdul-Malik (hafidhahullaah), starting at 9:30 inshaa'Allaah.  

The topic will be Benefits from the Athar of Ibn Seereen [d.110H].  Our speaker will be  Br. Aboo Sufyaan, inshaa'Allaah.

Daroos put on hold!!

Due to the dawrah of Shaykh Ahmad everyday between Maghrib and 'Ishaa', the restart of Thalaathatul-Usool (Wednesday) is postponed (tentatively) until next week. Likewise Kashfush-Shubuhaat with Sh. Fawaaz al-'Awwaadih (Sunday) is cancelled for next week and 'Umdatul-Ahkaam with 'Alee Saalem (Mondays) is cancelled for the next 3 weeks. 

Thalaathatul-Usool ::: Starting Wednesday, 3 June, 2009

Inshaa'Allaah, the Thalaathatul-Usool lessons (English) with Br. Aboo Sufyaan will resume next Wednesday (3/6/2009).  The lessons will be held in Fintas, directly after Salaatul-Maghrib.  Stay tuned for updates....

The topic will be The Khawaarij - the deviant sect that the Prophet (Sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam) warned against by name - their history and their bid'ah, and points regarding the Salafee 'Aqeedah in regards to the Muslim Rulers vs. that of the Khawaarij and those who follow their methodology today.  Our speakers will be Br. Aboo 'Abdillaah Nabeel Chogle and Br. Aboo Sufyaan 'Uthmaan Beecher, inshaa'Allaah.

This Thursday, 8 January, 2009, is our Monthly Lecture, inshaa'Allaah.  We will continue with our readings from the Creed ('Aqeedah) of al-Imaam al-Bukhaaree (rahimahullaah). The text of al-Bukhaaree's 'Aqeedah (Arabic/English) can be downloaded here.  The lesson is scheduled to begin @ 8pm and will be hosted in the home of our Br. Abdul-Malik in 'Abdullaah al-Mubaarak Area (behind Jleeb), and we kindly ask everyone who is able to contribute to this effort by bringing a dish, drinks, etc, inshaa'Allaah.  Maps to the brothers house with directions follow:

Thalaathatul-Usool has been rescheduled to Saturday instead of Monday, starting this Saturday in the home of our noble brother Abu Sultaan Hasan (حفظه الله) inshaa'Allaah.

Keep straight until you reach Ali Sabah as-Saalim Exit.
After you take the exit, keep straight through the first traffic circle, past the Co-op/Papa Johns (on your right). You will come to 2 more traffic circles - at the 2nd circle, take a right.
Take the first U-turn and your first immediate right.
At the first traffic circle you come to, go right.
At the T-intersection, go left, then your 2nd right.
It is the 5th house on the right (House #13).

Head South.
Take the exit for Ali Sabah as-Saalim -Wafra.
Go left over the bridge and then right at the 2nd light.
Go straight and make the first right after the 2nd traffic circle.

It is the 5th house on the right (House #13).
