A Summarized Chart of Al-Qawaa'id Al-Muthlaa of Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen

During the past dawrah with our beloved brother, Shaykh Abool-'Abbaas 'Aadil Mansoor (a student of Shaykh Muqbil, Shaykh al-Fawzaan and Shaykh Rabee' from Riyaadh -hafidhahumullaah), we studied the book Al-Qawaa'id Al-Muthlaa of ash-Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-'Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah), walhamdulillaah. A small summarized chart of each principle mentioned by Shaykh  Ibn 'Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) in his book regarding the Names and Attributes of Allaah was circulated in Arabic in the beginning.  We would like to present for the benefit of our brothers and sisters the translation of this small chart which can be carried in ones pocket for study, memorization and review.   The chart can be downloaded here.

Here is the audio file of the beneficial talk of our noble Br. Aboo 'Abdillaah Nabeel Chogle "The Upper hand is better than the Lower hand" for free download.

In this talk, the speaker lays out the manhaj of Ahlus-Sunnah, based upon the texts of the Book of Allaah, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam) and the statements of the Salaf of this Ummah in this issue.
Likewise he explains the way of the people of desires and how the way of the political groups and parties of today is in opposition to the way of Ahlus-Sunnah.

Abu Hurayrah is reported to have heard the Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) as saying:

"It is better for one among you to bring a load of firewood on his back and give charity out of it (and satisfy his own need) and be independent of people, than that he should beg from people, whether they give him anything or refuse him. Verily the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin (charity) with your dependants." [al-Bukhaaree & Muslim]
