The following question was asked to Sheikh Rabee on the 29th day of Muharram 1432H
Question:
What is your view on studying in Kuwait from all of the following individuals, Sheikh Taariq As-Subay'ee, Sheikh Ahmad As-Subay'ee, Sheikh Muhammad Al-'Anjaree, and Sheikh Khaalid Dhahwee?
Answered Sheikh Rabee:
In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful, All praises belong to Allah and may the peace and blessings be upon His messenger, companions, family and those that follow him; as to what follows.
Therefore my answer to the question, first, is there someone who opposes seeking knowledge from these individuals?
Questioner: Yes
Sheikh Rabee: We seek refuge in Allaah and we ask Allaah for safety and security. These individuals are from the most excellent sincere Salafis in calling to the da'wah of the Salaf, may Allah bless you. So they are the first people to take knowledge from and to take the minhaj of the Salaf from.
I don't believe that a Salafi would prevent someone from studying with them and if there is someone who opposes them then let him fear Allaah and do not block the people from the path of Allaah and from taking the minhaj of the Salaf from its proper people. And I urge the brothers to be serious and diligent in studying because verily the people are yearning for this minhaj of the Salaf and this 'aqeedah of the Salaf therefore gain an understanding of it so you can call to the path of Allaah the Blessed and Exalted and with it you can establish all of your worldly affairs.
I ask Allaah to give them success and cover their faults and to bring benefit by way of them. "
